DONATE TO MWA

Ways in which you can donate to MWA: (you do not have be a member to donate)
Each month MWA collects items for our various charities.  Items range from diapers and wipes, paper goods – toilet paper, paper towels – to school supplies and backpacks.

Lately our group has been asked to provide gift cards from various stores ranging from Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart or even Kohl’s. 

Due to limited space available to the various non-profits they are  no longer able to warehouse donated goods.  When the need arises for a family who may be moving from a homeless shelter to their own apartment, they will need the basics – furniture, sheets, towels, cooking utensils, eating utensils, etc.  Providing gift cards for them to obtain these items enables them to become even more self sufficient and eases the burden of storage of items for the non-profit.

 
This page will be updated on a monthly basis with a listing of items that have been requested.  Should you like to make a donation please email us at president@makefieldwomensassociation.org and arrangements can be made to either drop off or pick up your donation.

  
There’s always a need for something. 

New or “Gently Used” Halloween costumes (all sizes): 
Throughout the year we collect Halloween costumes which are used by the children at the Homeless Shelter.  Each child is provided with a costume for the annual Halloween Party, hosted by MWA each October.  Check out the fun from the link to the party on the “Who We Support” webpage on this site.

Donations to the Harvest Day Raffle:
If you, or your business, wish to be represented in our annual Harvest Day Raffle, please let us know what you wish to donate.  All donations, depending on what they are and their value are considered as either stand-alone or are incorporated into a theme basket with companion items.

Monetary donations to MWA:
We have been grateful for monetary donations ranging from as little as $1 to our largest donation to date of $500.  Any monetary donation will be added to the funds of MWA to be distributed where most needed.

MWA is a non-profit, 501 (c) 3 organization and, as such, all donations are fully tax deductible as allowed by law.  Be sure to check with your employee to see if your donation qualifies for any matching funds programs they may have.
